Aiden is a hand-tufted wool rug in tan and ivory with a clean abstract design. It's modern and minimal, with a bit more pile than a flat-weave, so it feels warm underfoot.
Full detailsWhich size do I need?
A stylist's rule of thumb: go bigger than you think. A rug that's too small makes a room feel smaller.
Living room
Front legs of the sofa and chairs on the rug. 8x10 suits most living rooms; 6x9 a small one; 9x12 an open plan.
Bedroom
Under the bottom two-thirds of the bed, with 18–24″ showing each side. 8x10 for a queen, 9x12 for a king.
Dining room
At least 24″ beyond the table on every side, so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out. 8x10 for four to six chairs, 9x12 for six to eight.
Hall & entry
Leave 4–6″ of floor showing on each side, and a little more at each end. Most halls take a 2′6″ to 3′ wide runner.

Details
Aiden is a hand-tufted wool rug in tan and ivory with a clean abstract design. It's modern and minimal, with a bit more pile than a flat-weave, so it feels warm underfoot.
Where we'd use it: a Scandinavian-style living room, a primary bedroom with a light wood bed, or a home office. The 9' x 13' size is unusual and useful for long rooms where a standard size falls a little short.
Pair it with: blond wood, cream boucle, black accents and a tan leather chair.
- Design: AEN-1000
- Construction: Hand-tufted in India
- Materials: 100% wool
- Pile: about 0.4 in (10 mm), canvas backing
- Sizes: 2' x 3', 2'6" x 8' runner, 5' x 7'6", 8' x 10', 9' x 13', 10' x 14', 12' x 15' (61 x 91 to 366 x 457 cm)
Care: Spot clean with a mild detergent. Use a suction-only vacuum setting. A rug pad adds cushion and stops it creeping.

Delivery & returns
Delivery
Outside Canada and the US we deliver by quote. Add this piece to your cart and send the cart from the cart page: we email a sales order with shipping, duties and taxes, and nothing is charged until you approve and pay it.
Ships from a US warehouse (Georgia, Texas or California) within 1–3 weeks: a US shipment, so no duties, brokerage or border fees. Rugs up to 8 ft wide ship for US$29, free on orders of US$360 or more. Rugs 9 ft wide and up travel by freight to your threshold for US$179 per order.
Returns
All sales are final, so please check sizes, colours and details before you order. Damaged, defective or wrong? We'll replace it or refund it in full, including shipping: tell us within 5 business days of delivery, with photos of the item and the packaging.
Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
