Made by hand in the U.S.A. with Turkish knots, this antique wool rug is beige and sand with sky blue and olive in the pattern and cream to lighten it. The pile is low, the ends are fringed, and it's one of a kind.
Where we'd use it: a farmhouse-style dining room, a living room with a light sofa or a primary bedroom. At 7'4" x 10'5" a queen bed fits on it with rug to spare on each side.
Pair it with: sky blue or olive linen, a scrubbed pine table and iron candlesticks.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
