Almost square at 10'7" x 11'11", this one-of-a-kind antique solves the problem of a square room that a rectangular rug never quite fits. It's hand-knotted in wool in powder blue, slate grey and ivory, with fringed ends.
Where we'd use it: a square dining room with a round or square table, a sitting room with two sofas facing each other, or a large square bedroom. The cool colours keep a big rug from feeling heavy.
Pair it with: a round pedestal table, white or pale blue slipcovers, and silver or nickel accents.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
