Details
Slim and pale, this ivory, sandstone, beige and cream runner was hand-knotted in the U.S.A. from wool, using the Turkish knot. It's one of a kind, with an ornamental traditional pattern and a low pile finished in fringe.
Where we'd use it: a narrow hallway in a century home, or the space between a bed and a wall where a wider rug won't fit. At 79 cm wide it slips into tight spots.
Pair it with: linen in oatmeal and flax, whitewashed wood and a small clay lamp.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
