At about 10 mm, the pile on this one is thicker than you might expect from an antique, so it feels cushioned underfoot. Sky blue, peach, sage green, cream and goldenrod give it a fresh, garden-like palette, and it's a one-of-a-kind rug hand-knotted in Turkey from wool.
Where we'd use it: a family room, a playroom or a bedroom where people sit or kneel on the floor. At 10'8" x 13'6" it fills a large room, and the soft colours work with light wood and white walls.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
