Slate grey is the base here, a cool colour that makes this antique easy to use in a modern home. Burnt orange, goldenrod, sky blue, sage green and ivory run through an updated traditional pattern, hand-knotted in Turkey from wool, and this rug is one of a kind.
Where we'd use it: a contemporary living room with a grey or black sofa, or a loft with concrete or dark floors. At 10'8" x 13'6" it can hold a sectional and a pair of chairs.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
