Details
Nearly square at 8'4" x 9'6", this antique rug is an unusual shape that fits rooms other rugs don't. It's hand-knotted in Turkey with Turkish knots in wool, with a fuller pile than most older pieces, in sage, slate, coral, cream and charcoal. There's only one.
Where we'd use it: a square dining room under a round or square table, a den with a sectional, or a bedroom where the bed floats in the middle of the room. The coral keeps the cooler sage and slate from feeling flat.
Pair it with: a round pedestal table, coral or blush accents and grey-washed wood.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
