Details
Pale and airy, with sky blue drifting across beige, cream and sandstone, this is an antique rug for a light-filled room. The Persian-knotted wool and cotton pile is almost flat. It was made by hand in Turkey, it's fringed, and it's the only one.
Where we'd use it: a coastal-style living room, a bedroom with white linens or a dining room with painted chairs. At 7' x 10'9" it runs long, so it suits a long table or a narrow living room.
Pair it with: white-painted furniture, pale blue linen and bleached oak.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
