Hand-woven in Turkey from wool, this antique runner has a soft, slightly raised pile and fringe at both ends. The colours are beige, sand and taupe with camel and ivory, a warm neutral mix. It's a single piece, so there's no second one to match it.
Where we'd use it: a mudroom or back hall, a long kitchen, or the stretch of floor outside the bedrooms upstairs. At 3'9" x 11'3" it's long enough for most hallways in a family home.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
