Ivory and cream with the faintest pale peach, this antique rug is about as light as a traditional hand-knotted rug gets. It was made in Turkey with Turkish knots in pure wool, and it's a one-of-a-kind piece.
Where we'd use it: a bright bedroom, a formal living room with little traffic, or a room you want to feel bigger. At 6'6" x 10' it fits under a queen bed or in front of a sofa. Pale rugs do best away from muddy entries.
Pair it with: cream boucle, peach or blush linen and pale gold lamps.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
