Pure wool, hand-knotted in Turkey, with a low pile and a patterned design: this antique rug is the kind that makes a newly built room feel settled. It's 7'5" x 10'3", a generous living room size, and there is only one.
Where we'd use it: a main living room with a sofa facing a fireplace or media wall and chairs across from it. It also works in a primary bedroom under a king bed, with rug showing on both sides.
Pair it with: plain upholstery in a colour taken from the rug, a leather ottoman and warm wood.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
