Updated traditional in style and a little thicker than many antiques, this wool rug was hand-knotted in Turkey with Turkish knots. It measures 7'1" x 10'9", a long shape that suits rooms deeper than they are wide, and it's one of a kind.
Where we'd use it: a long living room, a dining room with a rectangular table, or a bedroom where the bed sits against the short wall. The slightly fuller pile adds comfort without making chairs hard to move.
Pair it with: linen-covered dining chairs, a trestle table and simple brass pendants.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
