Faded gold warms this pale mix of beige, sandstone and cream, with light taupe underneath. The antique is hand-knotted in Turkey of wool and cotton, long for its width, with fringed ends, and it's one of a kind.
Where we'd use it: a long living room, a bedroom with the bed on the short wall, or an entry that leads straight through the house. At 6'10" x 11'9" the long shape works where a standard rug would feel squat.
Pair it with: cream boucle, pale gold lamps and bleached oak.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
