Details
Long and fairly slim at 5'9" x 12'8", this antique Turkish rug is an unusual shape, and it's the only one we have. Burnt sienna, olive and antique gold mix with taupe and charcoal, all hand-knotted in wool and worn thin, with fringed ends.
Where we'd use it: a long dining room with a narrow harvest table, a wide galley kitchen, or in front of a sectional that's longer than it is deep. It also makes a generous runner for an older home with a wide centre hall.
Pair it with: antique brass, olive green paint or tile, and a dark wood bench or console.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
