Just two colours, ivory and charcoal, give this older one-of-a-kind rug a crisp, graphic look that suits modern rooms as easily as traditional ones. It's hand-knotted in Turkey from recycled fabric with some wool, and the pile is low.
Where we'd use it: a modern farmhouse living room, a black-and-white kitchen with a big table, or a large bedroom with white walls. At 10'2" x 12'5" it's a big rug, so it's happiest in a generous room.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
