Ivory and charcoal only: an older, one-of-a-kind rug with a strong contrast that reads clearly from across a room. Hand-knotted in Turkey from recycled fabric and wool, it has a low pile and a traditional ornamental pattern.
Where we'd use it: an entry or dining room with dark floors, or a living room built around a grey or black sofa. At 9'2" x 11'8" it's a comfortable size for a mid-size room with the furniture legs on it.
Pair it with: charcoal velvet, a marble or white-topped table, and black-framed mirrors.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
