Rosewood leads on this antique, with sage, sandstone and ivory around it. The pile is very thin, which lets the knotting show and gives the rug a soft, aged look. It was hand-knotted in Turkey from wool, and it's one of a kind.
Where we'd use it: a dining room where chairs slide in and out often, since a thin pile doesn't catch, or a living room with warm white walls. At 9'7" x 12'7" it's fully room-size.
Pair it with: sage or blush linen, antique wood, and warm brass.
- Size: 9'7" x 12'7" (292 x 384 cm)
- Construction: Hand-knotted in Turkey
- Materials: 100% wool
- Pile: about 0.04 in (1 mm)
- Fringe: about 1 in (3 cm) at the ends
- Availability: one piece only, final sale. Enquire to confirm it's still available before you buy.
Care: Spot clean with a mild detergent; for a deep clean, use a professional rug cleaner. Use a suction-only vacuum and rotate it every so often. Slight variations in colour and edges come with age and handwork.

Outside Canada and the US we deliver by quote. Add this piece to your cart and send the cart from the cart page: we email a sales order with shipping, duties and taxes, and nothing is charged until you approve and pay it.
One of a kind: there is only one. Tap "Enquire about this piece" and we'll confirm it's still available, send more photos if you'd like, and quote delivery to your door before you pay.
Returns
Final sale. We confirm availability, condition and size with you before you buy. Damage in transit is always covered.
Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
