Rust and midnight blue make a classic pairing, joined here by terracotta, ivory, charcoal and some sage green. This hand-knotted antique from Turkey is all wool, low in the pile, and there's only one.
Where we'd use it: a traditional living room with a navy or rust sofa, or a family room that needs a sturdy, forgiving rug. At 8'10" x 12' it fits most living rooms with space to walk around the edges.
Pair it with: midnight-blue velvet, rust or cognac leather, and dark stained oak.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
