Sepia sits between the rust, terracotta and olive green on this rug, with slate blue and ivory to cool it down. It's an updated traditional design, hand-knotted in Turkey in wool, and it is one of a kind.
Where we'd use it: a study or library with wood shelves, or a living room with an antique or vintage piece or two. At 9' x 12'6" it's slightly longer than standard, which helps in rectangular rooms.
Pair it with: old leather, slate-blue walls or trim, and aged brass hardware.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
