Sage and ivory lead, with sandstone, pale blue and olive making up the rest, a light, garden-like palette. This older rug was hand-knotted in Turkey in wool and cotton with Persian knots, and it's one of a kind with a low pile.
Where we'd use it: a large living room with lots of windows, or a primary bedroom with a king bed. At 9'8" x 13' it's a big rug that suits open spaces and long rooms.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
