Sky blue and coral make this antique cheerful, with ivory, sage green and rosewood for balance. It's hand-knotted in Turkey from wool with a low pile. Only one exists, so it won't show up in anyone else's house.
Where we'd use it: a sunroom, a beach-house living room, or a teenager's bedroom. At 9'4" x 12'4" it's room-size, big enough for a full sofa and chair arrangement.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
