Details
Slightly wider than most at 3'1", this one-of-a-kind antique runner stretches 10'10". Hand-knotted in Turkey in wool and cotton, it has an ornamental traditional pattern, a thin pile and fringe at both ends.
Where we'd use it: a kitchen with a long run of counters, laid along the working side where you stand most, or a wide front entry that needs something warmer than tile. The extra width helps it hold its own in a bigger space.
Pair it with: butcher block or marble counters, unlacquered brass hardware and a pair of simple black pendant lights.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
