Taupe with olive and sage, set off by ivory and charcoal, this antique runner is calm, earthy and one of a kind. It was hand-knotted in Turkey, and its wool pile is thicker than most older runners, so it's soft to walk on.
Where we'd use it: a primary bedroom hall or a long walk-in closet, anywhere you're often in bare feet. The 3'7" width fills a wide hall nicely, and the deeper pile helps quiet a noisy floor.
Pair it with: taupe linen, olive velvet and warm bronze lighting.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
