Plain black iron, 11.8 inches tall, and the most adaptable Furnas of the lot. It's cordless and battery-powered with a dimmer, and black works in almost any colour scheme, from all-white to warm wood and brass.
Where we'd use it: on a black-framed bookshelf, a home-office desk or a bedroom dresser. Stagers like a small black lamp in a white kitchen, where it adds contrast by day and a warm glow at night.
Pair it with: white subway tile, butcher block, black cabinet hardware and a small plant in a terracotta pot.
