Brass from top to base, 11.8 inches tall: a cordless iron Furnas with a dimmer and a warm metallic finish that brightens a dark corner. With no cord to route, you can put it exactly where it looks best.
Where we'd use it: on a piano, in a formal living-room bookcase, or on a guest-room dresser. Brass pairs naturally with traditional furniture and looks at home in older houses, and the downward light keeps it subtle.
Pair it with: mahogany or cherry, cream velvet, and framed oil paintings.
