Details
Brick-red iron with a white linen shade gives Gencay a French country charm, and it also comes in bright yellow for a sunnier room. The light points down, casting a soft glow onto whatever's below.
Where we'd use it: in a farmhouse kitchen above a counter, beside a bed in a cottage bedroom, or in a breakfast nook. A coloured frame brings some personality to a plain white wall.
Pair it with: toile, blue and white china, painted wood and terracotta.
