Details
A low round box cut from travertine, with a swivel lid that turns aside rather than lifting off. The stone's natural pits are left open, which is part of its charm.
Where we'd use it: on a coffee table for matches, on a nightstand for jewellery, or on a bathroom counter. It is shallow enough to stack books on either side. Keep the lid turned slightly open if you like the stone's edge to show.
Pair it with: linen, warm oak, cream ceramics and a brass candle snuffer.
