Addison is an ivory rug with a raised Art Deco pattern cut into the pile, so the design shows up in texture rather than colour. That makes it one of the easiest rugs we know for a room that already has a busy sofa or patterned drapes: it adds interest without competing.
Full detailsWhich size do I need?
A stylist's rule of thumb: go bigger than you think. A rug that's too small makes a room feel smaller.
Living room
Front legs of the sofa and chairs on the rug. 8x10 suits most living rooms; 6x9 a small one; 9x12 an open plan.
Bedroom
Under the bottom two-thirds of the bed, with 18–24″ showing each side. 8x10 for a queen, 9x12 for a king.
Dining room
At least 24″ beyond the table on every side, so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out. 8x10 for four to six chairs, 9x12 for six to eight.
Hall & entry
Leave 4–6″ of floor showing on each side, and a little more at each end. Most halls take a 2′6″ to 3′ wide runner.

Details
Addison is an ivory rug with a raised Art Deco pattern cut into the pile, so the design shows up in texture rather than colour. That makes it one of the easiest rugs we know for a room that already has a busy sofa or patterned drapes: it adds interest without competing.
Where we'd use it: a living room with a charcoal or camel sofa, or under a bed in a primary bedroom. The viscose in the blend gives it a soft sheen in daylight.
Pair it with: black or brass lamps, a warm wood coffee table and nubby wool or boucle pillows.
- Design: ADD-2300
- Construction: Hand-tufted in India
- Materials: 60% wool, 40% viscose
- Pile: about 0.39 in (10 mm), canvas backing
- Sizes: 2' x 3' (61 x 91 cm), 5' x 7'6" (152 x 229 cm), 8' x 10' (244 x 305 cm), 9' x 12' (274 x 366 cm)
Care: Professional rug cleaning only. Vacuum without the beater bar. Keep water off the viscose and blot spills quickly. Rotate it every six months for even wear.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
