The blues are what set this one apart: slate and dusty blue running through a field of beige, taupe and sand. It's a one-of-a-kind antique rug, hand-knotted in Turkey from all wool, with a thin, flat pile and fringed ends.
Where we'd use it: a big family room or a formal living room with a cool palette, especially one with grey or white walls. At 11'5" x 14'2" it's a very large rug, so measure first; ideally it leaves a border of floor showing on every side.
Pair it with: a navy or denim-blue sofa, white oak, and pale linen curtains.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
