Artesia is a hand-woven jute rug with a farmhouse floral pattern in ivory, cream and beige. Jute gives it a natural, textured surface, and the pale colours keep it bright.
Full detailsWhich size do I need?
A stylist's rule of thumb: go bigger than you think. A rug that's too small makes a room feel smaller.
Living room
Front legs of the sofa and chairs on the rug. 8x10 suits most living rooms; 6x9 a small one; 9x12 an open plan.
Bedroom
Under the bottom two-thirds of the bed, with 18–24″ showing each side. 8x10 for a queen, 9x12 for a king.
Dining room
At least 24″ beyond the table on every side, so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out. 8x10 for four to six chairs, 9x12 for six to eight.
Hall & entry
Leave 4–6″ of floor showing on each side, and a little more at each end. Most halls take a 2′6″ to 3′ wide runner.

Details
Artesia is a hand-woven jute rug with a farmhouse floral pattern in ivory, cream and beige. Jute gives it a natural, textured surface, and the pale colours keep it bright.
Where we'd use it: a farmhouse living room, a sunroom, or the 2'6" x 8' runner along a back hall. Jute is firm underfoot, so it suits dining rooms and entries as well as living spaces.
Pair it with: white-painted furniture, black iron, linen curtains and a vase of dried grasses.
- Design: AEA-2300
- Construction: Hand-woven in India
- Materials: 100% jute
- Sizes: 2' x 3', 2'6" x 8' runner, 5' x 7'6", 6' x 9', 8' x 10', 9' x 12', 10' x 14' (61 x 91 to 305 x 427 cm)
Care: Spot clean with water only. A regular vacuum keeps it looking fresh. A rug pad adds cushion and stops it creeping.

Delivery & returns
Delivery
Outside Canada and the US we deliver by quote. Add this piece to your cart and send the cart from the cart page: we email a sales order with shipping, duties and taxes, and nothing is charged until you approve and pay it.
Ships from our supplier within 2–3 weeks, then a few business days in transit. Free shipping across Canada on orders of $250 or more, including large rugs ($19.99 from $100, $29.99 under $100). Rugs 9 ft wide and up travel by freight to your threshold (allow about a week more).
Returns
All sales are final, so please check sizes, colours and details before you order. Damaged, defective or wrong? We'll replace it or refund it in full, including shipping: tell us within 5 business days of delivery, with photos of the item and the packaging.
Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
