One sweeping, calligraphic stroke of matte black cuts across a mottled ground of taupe and bone-white washes, with raw brushwork and stray spatters. Inspired by mid-century Abstract Expressionism, it carries the heavy texture of originals made over plaster of Paris.
Where we'd use it: above a fireplace, a long console or a king bed, anywhere a neutral room needs one decisive gesture. Pick canvas on board or gallery wrap for a frameless modern look, or glass framed for a crisper finish.
Pair it with: taupe linen, oak, black iron and a stone or plaster lamp.
- Finishes: glass framed, framed canvas, gallery wrap canvas, canvas on board
- Orientation: horizontal
- Made in: Burlington, Ontario, made to order
Care: Dust gently with a dry cloth. Avoid direct sun so the colours stay true.
