Details
Carved ivory-toned cameo medallions rest in a row on a linen panel, framed by a chinoiserie backdrop of willow branches, cherry blossoms, hummingbirds and butterflies. It mixes neoclassical order with garden whimsy.
Where we'd use it: an entry above a console, a guest bedroom or a reading nook. Its soft pinks and creams warm up a north-facing room. The gold gilding and hand embellishment catch the light, so hang it where a lamp or window can reach it. It sits comfortably in a traditional room.
Pair it with: taupe velvet, cream linen, aged gilt and a pair of ginger jars.
- Finish: glass framed
