Details
Loose ivory brushstrokes sweep across a deep charcoal linen ground, their calligraphic marks hinting at letters or figures caught mid-movement. Light on dark is less common in abstract art, and it gives a pale room an instant anchor.
Where we'd use it: a white or cream living room that feels washed out, or a gallery wall made mostly of light prints. The large size can hold the wall behind a sofa by itself, and a pair in the small size works either side of a doorway.
Pair it with: grey flannel or charcoal linen, pale oak, white plaster pots and an ivory wool rug.
- Finishes: framed canvas, gallery wrap canvas
