Grey linen and brass: Majen is a slim mid-century pendant with a bell-shaped fabric shade just 8 inches wide. Linen softens the light and adds a bit of texture you don't get from glass or metal.
Where we'd use it: beside a bed in place of a table lamp, over a desk, or in a pair above a small kitchen island. The narrow shade fits spaces where a wider fixture would crowd the room.
Pair it with: walnut, teak or white oak, mustard or rust accents and a low-pile wool rug.
