Details
A bold black ring on aged cream paper, with a rough gold X at its centre and faint fault lines running through the background. The gold is hand-applied, textured gilding, so it catches the light differently through the day.
Where we'd use it: a study, a reading nook or a modern dining room, in the large size above a sideboard. The horizontal format and simple graphic shape suit a mid-century room with low furniture.
Pair it with: brass or gold hardware, black leather, cream walls and teak or walnut.
- Finishes: glass framed, framed canvas, gallery wrap canvas
- Sizes: small or large
- Orientation: horizontal
- Made in: Burlington, Ontario, made to order
Care: Dust gently with a dry cloth. Avoid direct sun so the colours stay true.

Delivery & returns
Delivery
Outside Canada and the US we deliver by quote. Add this piece to your cart and send the cart from the cart page: we email a sales order with shipping, duties and taxes, and nothing is charged until you approve and pay it.
Made by hand in Ontario, just for you. Allow 3–4 weeks for it to be made, then a few business days for delivery. Shipping is calculated by size at checkout, from $29 in Ontario and $39 elsewhere in Canada; this piece's shipping size and rates are shown above. Small and Medium pieces ship free on orders of $1,000 or more. Art-only orders can be picked up free in Burlington.
Returns
Final sale, because each piece is made to order. Damaged, defective or wrong? We'll replace it or refund it in full, including shipping: tell us within 3 business days of delivery, with photos of the piece and the packaging.
Care
Hang out of direct sunlight and away from bathrooms and other damp rooms. Dust the frame with a soft, dry cloth. To clean glazing, spray a little glass cleaner onto the cloth, never onto the piece.
