Here Melbu turns more traditional: a blue ceramic body in an Arts & Crafts style with a white linen shade in a specialty shape. At 14.2 inches, it's a bright little lamp with a lighter look than the coloured-shade versions.
Where we'd use it: on a kitchen shelf, a small desk or a narrow window sill in a breakfast nook. The white shade lets the blue body do the talking. Green, orange, pink and yellow are also options.
Pair it with: blue-and-white ceramics, painted wood and a simple cotton runner.
