Details
This vintage map of the Muskoka Lakes comes from the days of steamers and lakeside resorts, charting rail lines and boat routes in sage green and faded sepia. The paper has a folded, well-used look, as if it had been carried on a few trips north.
Where we'd use it: a narrow wall beside a cottage door, a stairwell landing or a study where a tall piece fits better than a wide one. Hang it at eye level so the small place names can actually be read, and let it be the only map in the room.
Pair it with: pine or reclaimed wood, an ivory wall, a leather club chair and a woven basket of kindling by the fireplace.
- Finish: glass framed
- Orientation: vertical
- Made in: Burlington, Ontario, made to order
Care: Wipe the glass with a soft, barely damp cloth and dust the frame. Avoid strong direct sunlight.

Care
Hang out of direct sunlight and away from bathrooms and other damp rooms. Dust the frame with a soft, dry cloth. To clean glazing, spray a little glass cleaner onto the cloth, never onto the piece.
