Ostia is a white resin lamp with a white linen empire shade, a traditional shape at 23 inches with a wide 18.5-inch shade. It takes up to 150 watts and has a 3-way switch, so it can light a whole corner.
Where we'd use it: on end tables either side of a sofa, or on nightstands in a guest room. Its shorter height and broad shade suit low tables and deep sofas.
Pair it with: white slipcovers, pale blue or sage pillows, light wood and brass.
