Most of this painting is sky: soft washes of white, blush and pale grey hanging over a low line of hills and a marsh in olive, rust and slate. White textured passages give the surface a weathered look, and the impressionist style lets land and sky blur together.

Details
Most of this painting is sky: soft washes of white, blush and pale grey hanging over a low line of hills and a marsh in olive, rust and slate. White textured passages give the surface a weathered look, and the impressionist style lets land and sky blur together.
Where we'd use it: a tall wall in a stairwell, beside a fireplace or between two windows in a light-filled living room. Vertical landscapes are hard to find, and this one gives a narrow space the sense of a view.
Pair it with: olive green velvet, rust or camel pillows, white oak and linen curtains.
- Finishes: framed canvas, gallery wrap canvas, glass framed
- Orientation: vertical
- Made in: Burlington, Ontario, made to order
Care: A soft dry cloth for the frame and glass or canvas. Hang it away from direct sun and humidity.
