Details
One woman is perched above, the other seated below, both caught in fluid black and sepia ink with soft washes of shading. The mood is intimate and relaxed, closer to a quick study made in the studio than a finished portrait.
Where we'd use it: a reading nook, a guest bedroom, or a gallery wall mixed with older prints and photographs. Its vertical format fits the narrow wall beside a bed. Hang it alongside Two Figures in Ink for a matched set.
Pair it with: cream linen, a rattan or cane chair, warm wood and a single stem in a glass vase.
- Finish: glass framed
- Orientation: vertical
- Made in: Burlington, Ontario, made to order
Care: A soft cloth for the frame and glass is all it needs. Hang it out of direct sun so the colours stay true.

Made by hand in Ontario, just for you. Allow 3–4 weeks for it to be made, then a few business days for delivery. Shipping is calculated by size at checkout, from $29 in Ontario and $39 elsewhere in Canada; this piece's shipping size and rates are shown above. Small and Medium pieces ship free on orders of $1,000 or more. Art-only orders can be picked up free in Burlington.

Care
Hang out of direct sunlight and away from bathrooms and other damp rooms. Dust the frame with a soft, dry cloth. To clean glazing, spray a little glass cleaner onto the cloth, never onto the piece.
