Sky blue and slate blue wind through beige, sandstone and ivory in this long antique runner. It's hand-knotted in Turkey from wool and cotton, the pile is about as flat as a rug gets, and there's only one.
Where we'd use it: a wide hallway, a long galley kitchen or the walkway between a kitchen and a breakfast area. At 4'1" wide it has more presence than a standard runner, which suits halls with generous proportions.
Pair it with: pale blue or white cabinetry, brass or aged-nickel hardware and simple framed botanicals.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
