Denim blue is a relaxed, casual blue, and with terracotta and sage green it makes this antique rug feel lived-in and easy. Sandstone and ivory fill the ground. It's updated traditional, hand-knotted in Turkey with Turkish knots in wool, low in pile and fringed, and it's one of a kind.
Where we'd use it: a family room with a denim or chambray sofa, a casual dining room or a farmhouse kitchen with a seating corner. At 7'8" x 10'6" it fits a sofa and chairs in a medium to large room.
Pair it with: chambray and white linen, terracotta planters and pale oak.
- Size: 7'8" x 10'6" (234 x 320 cm)
- Construction: Hand-knotted in Turkey
- Materials: 100% wool
- Pile: about 0.2 in (5 mm)
- Fringe: about 1 in (3 cm) at the ends

Care: Spot clean with a mild detergent; for a deep clean, use a professional rug cleaner. Use a suction-only vacuum and rotate it every so often. An antique will show its age in small ways; that's part of the appeal.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
