Details
Dusty rose is the surprise in this one: it softens the burnt sienna and terracotta and keeps the rug from reading heavy. Hand-knotted in Turkey with Persian knots in wool and cotton, it's a one-of-a-kind antique with a low pile and fringed ends.
Where we'd use it: a primary bedroom with a king bed, set so the rug reaches well past both sides of the mattress, or a living room with blush or cream upholstery. At 9'3" x 12'5" it's a true room-size rug.
Pair it with: blush linen bedding, sage velvet, and aged brass or bronze lamps.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
