Slate grey and sage give this burnt sienna rug a cooler edge than most warm antiques. It's an updated traditional design hand-knotted in Turkey, all wool with a Turkish knot, and at 0.28 in the pile has a little more depth than the flatter older rugs, and it's the only one in the collection.
Where we'd use it: a living room with grey walls or a charcoal sofa, where the burnt sienna brings in warmth without clashing. At 8'6" x 11'6" it suits a medium room with the front legs of the furniture resting on the rug.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
