Sky blue, terracotta and sage feel like a Mediterranean patio, and on this large 10'2" x 13' antique they sit with sand and ivory. It's hand-knotted in Turkey in wool and cotton with a low pile and fringe. There's only one.
Where we'd use it: a big open-plan living room, a sunroom with a full seating group, or a formal dining room with a table for ten. A rug this size makes a room feel furnished even with fairly spare furniture.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
