Details
Worn almost flat at 0.04 in, this sky blue and crimson antique has the thin, rubbed look of a rug with years behind it. Ivory, sandstone and slate grey complete it. Hand-knotted in Turkey in half wool, half cotton, it's the only one.
Where we'd use it: a long dining room, since at 9'1" x 13'1" it runs longer than most room-size rugs, or a living room that's deep from front to back. The flat pile makes it easy under chairs.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
