Details
Slate grey is the cool note in an otherwise warm mix of beige, sandstone, ivory and taupe. This hand-knotted Turkish runner is an antique and one of a kind, with an ornamental traditional pattern and a low wool-and-cotton pile.
Where we'd use it: a wide hallway in a newer build with grey-toned floors or walls, where it bridges warm and cool. It also suits the long walkway between a bed and a wall of closets in a primary bedroom.
Pair it with: charcoal or slate accents, white oak and black-framed mirrors.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
