Details
Ivory with sandstone, beige and cream, this runner is all soft, warm neutrals. It's an antique and one of a kind, hand-knotted in Turkey in wool and cotton, with an ornamental traditional pattern kept low-key by the tight palette.
Where we'd use it: a long main hall that opens onto a living room with neutral furniture, so the rug carries the same colours through. At 13'9" long and 104 cm wide it's generous in both directions.
Pair it with: cream boucle, travertine and warm brass, with a single green plant for life.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without the beater bar on wool and hand-knotted rugs. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth; don't rub. Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly, and use a rug pad underneath. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.
