Two bulbs under a metal shade, each on its own pull: Fungiaire is a gold iron lamp on a brass base with a cottage-country feel. It comes 20 or 21.5 inches tall, and the light points down.
Where we'd use it: on a kitchen counter, a desk or a bookshelf, where the downward light falls onto the surface. The twin pulls let you run a single bulb for a soft glow or both for close work.
Pair it with: cream cabinetry, butcher block, green glass and gingham or ticking-stripe fabrics.
