The gold lining is what makes Kazuto: switched on, the inside of the black bell glows, and the light that falls below is noticeably warmer than a white-lined shade would give. It's an updated traditional design with an on/off switch.

The gold lining is what makes Kazuto: switched on, the inside of the black bell glows, and the light that falls below is noticeably warmer than a white-lined shade would give. It's an updated traditional design with an on/off switch.
Where we'd use it: a dining room without a chandelier, where a pair on the wall can carry the evening light, or a den painted a dark colour. Gold-lined shades suit rooms used mostly at night.
Pair it with: walnut furniture, velvet in rust or olive, and brass candlesticks.
